Business Projects

Microalgal Services - basic Wordpress integration for a small business in Southeast Melbourne

Bentleigh Art 'n' Frame - in-progress custom CMS design and deployment using React for a local picture frame business (site not yet public)

Web Applications

Sea of Text - a barebones Pastebin clone and demonstration of dynamic database use as well as various Bootstrap components.

Photos - a simple photo viewing system with search, sorting, download, view count and pagination.

Pop Lyric Stats - an analysis of the lyrics used in the most popular songs of November 2014. Uses the Google Charts API.

Type - a straightforward solution to typing foreign characters on systems without built-in support. I developed this site for my secondary school French class in year nine and it is still in use today.

Priming - quickly displays words in succession; demonstration of JQueryUI animations.

Bandmatch - enter a band name to receive recommendations for similar bands. Dataset is limited so results may vary; consider as proof-of-concept for database caching and algorithmic analysis of relationships between data.

Now Defunct

2lang - an interactive language-learning competition platform, which hosted a weekend-long competition where users aimed to spend as many hours as possible learning a new language. Features included registration, user management, posting updates, logging hours, viewing leaderboards. Written in PHP, databasing in MySQL, interactive features in JavaScript/JQuery.

Esperanto Affix Course - a language-learning platform written in vanilla JavaScript which provided gamified learning resources for the constructed language Esperanto, modeled after the popular site Duolingo. This project garnered thousands of pageviews and was featured on the sidebar of the reddit /r/Esperanto community.

Other Projects

Jackofhearts - Soundcloud - crossover pop / electronic / alternative music production project.
